Terms of Service

Zofi is provided as-is. The app runs AI models locally on your device — their output can be wrong and must not be relied upon for professional advice. You are responsible for how you use the app and for complying with the licence of each model you download.

Zofi is an offline-first AI assistant for Android. All inference runs locally on your device. We do not operate servers that process your conversations, and we do not offer cloud-based AI features.

The app is provided free of charge and without warranty. We may update, modify, or discontinue the app at any time without notice.

Zofi runs third-party open-source AI models. Their output can be inaccurate, incomplete, biased, or offensive. You must not rely on generated content as professional, legal, medical, financial, or safety-critical advice.

You are solely responsible for evaluating and acting on any content generated by the app.

AI models available through Zofi are sourced from Hugging Face and are subject to their own individual licences (e.g. Apache 2.0, MIT, Llama Community Licence, Gemma Terms of Use). By downloading and using a model, you agree to comply with that model’s licence.

Zofi does not grant any rights to third-party model weights beyond what the respective licence already permits.

You agree not to use Zofi to:

• Generate content that is illegal in your jurisdiction
• Harass, threaten, or harm others
• Produce or distribute malware, spam, or deceptive content
• Circumvent any applicable law or regulation

Zofi is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free of bugs or viruses.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Zofi and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the app, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be noted in the app’s changelog and reflected in the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
